The Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS) is a social welfare program launched by the Government of India to provide financial assistance to elderly citizens who are below the poverty line. – in this scheme, senior citizens will receive monthly pension. – Age 60 to 79 years : 200/- Pension amount – Age 80+ years : 500/- Pension amount
– Applicants must be Indian citizens. – The applicant’s age must be 60 years and above. – Applicant must belong to household living below poverty line.( BPL ) – if Applicant having no regular source of financial support eligible for old age pension.
